Job Responsibility:
Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring consistent preparation and presentation of all food items
Control labor and operating expenses through effective organization, purchasing, and inventory control
Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and maintain kitchen cleanliness
Communicate effectively with staff and management to meet operational needs
attend regular meetings to ensure departmental coordination
Work professionally and collaboratively with co-workers and supervisors
Manage recipe costing, create pickup charts, and develop spreadsheets to enhance efficiency
Conduct frequent quality checks to maintain food standards
Inspire and motivate the pastry team, leading team-building activities and demonstrating skills on the floor
Adapt to different shifts and areas in the pastry kitchen to meet business needs and grow within the organization
