Job Description

We’re seeking experienced Grill Chefs to join our team in Sydney — professionals who are confident on the grill and passionate about delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced kitchen.

Requirements

  • Proven, hands-on experience running the grill section with confidence and consistency
  • Chef experience in a premium a-la-carte restaurant
  • Experience with Italian cuisine is advantageous
  • Management candidates must have solid understanding of management practices and financial budgets/targets
  • Exemplary leadership with focus on staff development
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a high-performing team
  • Highly adaptable and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
  • Solid understanding of food safety standards
  • Proven ability in building effective relationships
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Experience using Deputy (or similar Time & Attendance system), H&L, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent communication and presentation
  • Able and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
  • Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent

Nice to have

Experience with Italian cuisine is advantageous
