The Chef de Partie – In-Room Dining is responsible for overseeing the preparation and production of dishes specific to the in-room dining service. This role ensures that all culinary standards are met with precision, consistency, and high attention to detail, providing guests with exceptional dining experiences in the comfort of their accommodations.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare, cook, and present menu items specific to in-room dining according to resort standards
Support the broader operations of the Main Kitchen as required, while primarily focusing on In-Room Dining service
Lead and support junior kitchen staff during service to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely food preparation
Ensure all dishes are prepared on time and according to dietary requirements, portion sizes, and presentation standards
Collaborate closely with Room Service staff to coordinate timely delivery and accommodate guest requests
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the In-Room Dining kitchen area in line with local food safety regulations
Monitor stock levels, ensure proper storage, and assist in inventory control for the in-room dining section
Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal specials tailored for room service
Ensure equipment is maintained properly and report any malfunction to the Sous Chef
Uphold resort values and maintain a guest-first attitude in all kitchen operations
Requirements:
Fluency in Spanish and English
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a luxury hotel or resort environment
Specialized experience or keen interest in room service or a la carte operations
Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification
Solid knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
