Participates in the preparation of food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards
Complete mis en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service
Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation of all bakery products
Supervise and support Commis Chefs and kitchen trainees in the bakery section
Maintain hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with HACCP guidelines
Monitor inventory and minimize product waste
Collaborate with the Pastry Chef on menu development and new bakery creations
Ensure all equipment in the bakery section is properly maintained and cleaned
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
Strong knowledge of artisan bread, pastry, and bakery production
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
Excellent communication
reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
The job requires applicants to have current work authorization in Indonesia
Nice to have
Culinary diploma or professional culinary training preferred
