Job Description

The Chef de Cuisine-Dietary Specialist is the lead culinary person responsible for supervising culinary operations with an emphasis in special dietary accommodations at the Seattle Convention Center in Seattle, WA. Develops, prices, plans, and executes menus that accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences while maintaining high culinary standards; such as but not limited to: halal, kosher, Jain, celiac, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, nightshade-free, paleo, keto, and allergens such as nuts, soy, sesame. ​​​​​ Collaborates with clients, event coordinators, and kitchen staff to customize meals based on dietary requirements

Requirements

  • Requires a culinary degree and advanced training in and knowledge of culinary nutrition

  • Requires the ability to work an event based schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays
