Job Description:

The CDC-Asian Chef is responsible for planning, preparing, and executing authentic and innovative Asian Cuisine, Thai and Southeast Asian dishes while ensuring high quality food standards, creativity, and consistency in presentation. This role involves maintaining kitchen hygiene, cost efficiency, team leadership, and menu development while ensuring exceptional customer service and managing kitchen operations in alignment with the property's standards. Job Responsibility:

  • Planning, preparing and executing authentic and innovative Asian Cuisine, Thai and Southeast Asian dishes
  • ensuring high quality food standards, menu creativity and consistency in presentation

  • developing, designing, or creating new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products
  • supervising restaurant kitchen shift operations
  • maintaining food preparation handling and correct storage standards

  • preparing and cooking foods of all types
  • leading and supervising kitchen teams
  • maintaining employee productivity
  • setting and supporting achievement of kitchen goals
  • ensuring exceptional customer service
  • training restaurant staff on menu items
  • participating in hiring and performance appraisal processes
  • understanding and implementing safety standards

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 2 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
