You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service and delivering attentive, refined, and memorable guest experiences at Bar Dandolo, the historic Venetian lounge of Hotel Danieli. You will manage your service station with confidence and elegance, provide detailed and engaging descriptions of our cocktail, wine, and food offerings, anticipate guest needs, and maintain a strong presence on the floor. Your mission is to elevate every interaction, ensuring guests feel recognized, valued, and immersed in the timeless charm of Bar Dandolo.
Job Responsibility:
Provide an expertly delivered beverage and bar‑lounge dining experience, upholding the highest Four Seasons standards of quality, professionalism, and warmth
Describe food and beverage selections using interesting, vivid, and accurate descriptions of each item’s origin, flavor, and preparation method
Take guest orders and communicate clearly with kitchen and bar teams, including any special dietary needs or requests
Coordinate food and beverage timings to ensure seamless, elegant service flow
Anticipate guest needs, monitor satisfaction, offer tailored suggestions, and respond promptly to concerns or special requests
Close guest checks accurately and follow all POS and billing procedures
Maintain a highly visible presence throughout the bar to ensure continuous guest support and smooth service operations
Oversee the setup, maintenance, and cleanliness of your station
ensure polished glassware, pristine mise en place, and refined ambiance
Guide and support the junior team members, acting as a role model in service excellence
Collaborate closely with the rest of the team to uphold the identity, style, and rhythm of Bar Dandolo
Requirements:
Experience in luxury hotels and/or high‑end stand‑alone restaurants, ideally in the same role
international experience is a strong asset
2-3 years of previous experience in the same role
Fluency in English and Italian
High‑level knowledge of food, wine, and beverage culture, including cocktails and spirits
Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with guests and colleagues
Ability to multitask with excellent organizational skills in a high‑end, fast‑paced service setting
A collaborative team spirit and a genuine personal touch that elevates each guest interaction
