You will be responsible for running the kitchen and meal experience for our elderly residents. By creating and preparing a varied and nourishing menu, you’ll directly support the wellbeing of our residents and make a genuine difference to their quality of life.
Job Responsibility:
Designing a varied menu that reflects residents’ tastes and supports their nutritional needs
Ensuring mealtimes are always a high-quality experience
Maintaining the highest food standards
Supporting, training and directing the kitchen team
Mentoring and motivating on quality, safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
Assisting the General Manager in developing and managing the budgetary, human and material resources within the department
Requirements:
Recent experience of cooking for large numbers in a commercial setting
Must have previously managed and motivated a catering team
Experience of providing food for people with special dietary requirements
