Job Responsibility:
Prepare and present dishes that meet hotel's culinary standards
Follow recipes and maintain food safety practices
Contribute to a collaborative kitchen environment
Oversee designated section of the kitchen (Demi Chef)
Assist kitchen team in delivering high-quality food (Commis Chef)
Train junior staff and step into supervisory role (Demi Chef)
Prepare ingredients and maintain clean workstation (Commis Chef).
Requirements:
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience post-apprenticeship in a similar role
Previous experience within a large kitchen operation
Experience within a hotel or resort environment
Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP principles.
