Checkouts Co-Worker

• Be an IKEA Ambassador by providing seamless and memorable customer service and problem-solving in a fair and timely manner
• actively listen and identify customer needs
• process transactions according to IKEA returns and exchange policies
• handle cash according to IKEA policy
• maintain awareness of daily and weekly service/delivery targets
• ensure stock accuracy and inventory integrity by adhering to Returns/Exchange policies and routines
• stay current with IKEA product knowledge, specials, and policies
• ensure recovered product is put away properly and your area is stocked and visually presentable
• assist team members with additional duties as required.

• at least 6 months of customer service experience in retail or distribution center
• amazing attention to detail
• ability to juggle multiple priorities while keeping a smile
• compassionate and understanding customer service skills
• capable of assessing problems and delivering solutions quickly
• strong coordination skills
• comfortable with computers and technology-savvy
• able to work in physically demanding and fast-paced environments
• ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
