Job Responsibility:
Act as the technical lead for the reallocation of V-links and torque rods, moving production from a current supplier to a new strategic partner
Responsible for the entire engineering validation process, ensuring that all components meet the rigorous standards of a world-class automotive manufacturer
Daily work involves reviewing technical drawings in NX, analyzing historical data, and performing DFMEAs
Manage stakeholders and maintain close contact with the supplier to monitor progress and quality
Play a key role in the validation phase, overseeing the release of multiple batches throughout 2026
Critically assess supplier deliverables
Ensure that the suspension and steering systems perform optimally
Act as the pivot between design, production, and quality, ensuring a seamless transition and a robust final product
Requirements:
Completed Bachelor or Master degree in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Proven knowledge of vehicle axle suspension, ride and handling, and bearings
Experience with CAD software, preferably Siemens NX, for creating and reviewing technical drawings
Strong analytical skills and a critical view on supplier deliverables and technical documentation
Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively in an international project team
