We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic Building Consultancy team. You will take the lead in delivering complex construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standards of quality, sustainability and client satisfaction. Job Responsibility:
Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of construction projects from inception through completion
Develop and manage project programmes, budgets and resources
Act as the principal contact with clients, design teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
Monitor and control project progress, addressing challenges proactively to keep projects on track
Oversee procurement activities, contract administration and compliance with quality, health & safety and environmental standards
Requirements:
Proven experience in construction project management, ideally in a consultancy, contractor or client-side role
Strong commercial awareness with excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
A thorough understanding of UK construction contracts, procurement and CDM Regulations
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects to challenging timescales
Professional qualifications in construction management, engineering, surveying or related discipline (desirable)
