Job Description:

A long-established Building Surveying and Valuation consultancy, with over 50 years’ experience in the commercial property sector, are keen to speak with a career-minded Chartered Building Surveyor to join their growing national team. Offering the successful Surveyor the opportunity to work on a unique mix of professional services and project work across sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, and specialist commercial businesses, this is a role that combines autonomy, variety, and long-term career progression.

Job Responsibility:

Delivering acquisition surveys and professional advice for a wide range of commercial assets, including hotels, care homes, and healthcare premises
Supporting project management duties, dilapidations, life cycle costings, maintenance planning, and refurbishment design work
Managing tasks efficiently, meeting deadlines, and contributing to the team’s ongoing success through new and repeat business development

Requirements:

BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying – RICS accredited
Chartered MRICS status
A strong background in both pre- and post-contract project management
Client-facing experience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Comfortable with UK travel where required
A proactive and professional approach to workload and relationship management
