Job Description:

A well-established built asset consultancy is looking to appoint a Chartered Building Surveyor to join its growing Birmingham team. Known for delivering high-quality work across a diverse project portfolio, this is a role that offers real responsibility, strong client exposure, and long-term career development. You'll be joining a collaborative, people-focused environment with a strong reputation and a steady pipeline of work across multiple sectors.

Job Responsibility:

Leading on project delivery from initial brief through to completion
Acting in a contract administration capacity across a variety of schemes
Producing detailed specifications, reports, and technical advice
Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders
Ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high standard

Requirements:

Degree in Building Surveying or a related field
MRICS qualified or equivalent experience
Strong background in consultancy-led project delivery
Good understanding of JCT contracts and contract administration
Able to manage workloads across multiple live projects
Commercially aware with a focus on delivering value
Confident communicator with a professional, client-facing approach
