Job Description:

A forward-thinking consultancy in London is seeking an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor to join their dynamic and supportive team. The role involves leading high-value projects, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to the ongoing success of a collaborative practice.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver contract administration on projects up to £2,500,000+VAT
undertake insurance reinstatement projects, planned maintenance surveys, and condition surveys
design and specify maintenance works and carry out defect investigations and diagnosis
manage Licence for Alterations, party wall matters, and pre-acquisition surveys
act as Employer’s Agent and provide reinstatement cost assessments for insurance purposes
lead and manage team members, including mentoring graduates and assisting with APC training
build and nurture client relationships, ensuring service excellence
develop new and repeat business opportunities where possible

Requirements:

MRICS qualification with significant post-qualification experience
proven expertise in contract administration and professional surveying services
strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
excellent written and verbal communication skills
proactive, client-focused, and results-driven
ability to manage multiple projects and deliver exceptional service under pressure
