Job Responsibility:

  • Under the responsibility of the General Management and with a view to managing the office as a ‘Director’ on chartered accountancy assignments
  • activities will be focused on the chartered accountancy of our ‘German division’ (German employees and clients)
  • supervision and technical validation of the work of our staff, while encouraging their training and professional development
  • main contact for our clients, assisting them with all their accounting, tax, economic, employment and legal issues
  • ensure that working methods are applied and guarantee the quality of work and customer satisfaction
  • build client loyalty and develop the firm's client base

Requirements:

  • DEC, Chartered Accountant and/or ‘Steuerberater’ qualification
  • several years' experience in a chartered accountancy firm, ideally in a position involving the management of staff
  • extremely rigorous and technically proficient
  • good organisational skills
  • good customer relations
  • good people skills
  • very good command of German (ideally as your mother tongue)
  • ideally be fluent in both spoken and written English
