Job Description:

We have a vital supervisory position available at our Tasman Road Depot in Hamilton. This is a position that requires a high level of organizational skills and flexibility while playing a key role in coordinating and maintaining a smooth, punctual operation for our Charter services, while meeting all safety, regulatory and compliance requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • To supervise and maintain smooth punctual operation of all Charter services
  • Managing our team of drivers, including staff training
  • Rostering weekly driver and fleet allocations
  • Accident and complaint investigation and resolution
  • Charter quoting and depot administration
  • Promote and visit charter business with customers, both new and existing
  • Promote H&S in the workplace, support the company’s objectives and conduct investigations
  • Investigate customer feedback and proactively and promptly resolve any concerns
  • Responding to KPI exceptions
  • Participate in a rotational weekend and after hours on-call roster, maintaining phone accessibility to support charter drivers when required
  • Managing multiple tasks and communicating with staff and customers
  • Managing all driver and fleet compliance
  • And other tasks as required by the business which will include driving

Requirements:

  • Class 2 & 4 License & P Endorsement would be an advantage
  • Established track record in customer service, client engagement, and operational management
  • Leadership and personal skills demonstrating a practical people-oriented approach
  • Focus on results with a hands-on practical approach
  • Attention to detail and be proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, structure, and organise activities, resources, and schedules to achieve operational goals
  • Ability to adapt and cope with change, in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

Class 2 & 4 License & P Endorsement would be an advantage
