Job Description

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced aviation professional to step into a senior, highly dynamic Charter Manager role within an always growing, premium aviation business. The Charter Manager is responsible for end-to-end management of complex charter operations, client relationships, and flight execution. This role requires someone who is commercially astute, operationally strong, highly trusted, and comfortable operating in high-pressure, high-profile environments. You will deal with a diverse and exciting portfolio of clients, including global touring bands and music productions, film and television productions, mining, resources, and energy companies, state and Federal Government departments, and corporate and ultra-high-net-worth private clients. No two days are the same as this role blends aviation operations, client management, logistics, problem-solving and premium service delivery at the highest level.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage end-to-end charter operations, from initial client enquiry through to successful flight completion
  • Design and deliver complex charter solutions across turboprop, jet, rotary, and widebody aircraft platforms
  • Prepare and present tailored charter quotations aligned with each client’s specific travel requirements, operational constraints, and budget considerations
  • Liaise directly with aircraft operators, flight crews, airports, ground handlers, and service providers to ensure seamless operations
  • Manage high-value client relationships with discretion, professionalism, and confidence
  • Coordinate all logistics including flight planning, permits, slot coordination, fuel arrangements, catering, ground transport, and accommodation
  • Ensure operations comply with CASA regulations, AOC requirements, insurance standards, and aviation safety protocols
  • Manage time-critical and high-pressure operational situations with calm decision-making and precision
  • Deliver premium, concierge-level service to VIP and corporate clients
  • Identify commercial opportunities and support business growth through proactive client engagement
  • Maintain accurate operational records, costings, and documentation to support compliance and financial tracking

Requirements

  • Strong aviation industry experience (charter, airline, operations, or brokerage)
  • Pilot qualification and/or operational aviation background highly regarded
