Chart Retrieval Specialist

• Travel to provider offices within a potential 30 to 50-mile radius to retrieve paper and electronic medical charts
• Upload charts into our secure system while onsite for retrospective and prospective reviews

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license (if you are in NYC and will be taking public transportation, this is not required)
• Insurance/liability policy in your name (if you are in NYC and will be taking public transportation, this is not required)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills
• Availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility to work three or more consecutive days depending on project needs
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds safely and efficiently
• Capability to use telephone or headset equipment in two-way communication situations

Basic navigational knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) applications such as Epic, Allscripts, e-Clinical Works, Nextgen, etc.

• Two days of remote paid training
• Travel reimbursement starting from mile one
