An excellent and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a PSV Chargehand to join the team at Arriva’ Stevenage Depot. Job Responsibility

  • Servicing, maintenance and repairs in line with Arriva and DVSA standards
  • Supporting continuous improvement of vehicle reliability
  • MOT preparation and quality compliance checks
  • Planned preventative maintenance campaigns
  • Vehicle fault diagnosis and rectification
  • Ensuring all maintenance exceeds DVSA requirements and meets Arriva’s high standards
  • Promoting safe working practices and compliance with Health & Safety legislation

Requirements

  • Level 3 NVQ / IRTEC qualification (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of PSV or HGV maintenance
  • Strong understanding of engineering procedures and Health & Safety legislation
  • Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)

Nice to have

  • Experience inspecting vehicles for scheduled maintenance
  • Knowledge of electrical circuits and systems
