Job Responsibility:
Providing direct patient care and clinical oversight during assigned shifts
Prioritizing and coordinating patient care activities to meet unit demands
Assisting with admissions, discharges, and care planning
Serving as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing team members
Monitoring patient conditions and facilitating timely communication with providers
Ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety standards
Collaborating with nursing leadership to support quality, safety, and staff performance initiatives
Functioning as a point of contact in the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer or Nursing leadership
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Minimum two years of experience in rehabilitative or acute care settings
Demonstrated leadership ability and effective team coordination skills
Excellent oral and written communication abilities
Proficiency in EMR systems and basic computer skills
Mandatory child and adult abuse certification required
