Job Description

Charge Nurse Behavioral Health NH $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS at Main Campus Children's of Alabama. Work schedule will be Full Time on the Day shift, 3 twelve hour shifts a week, rotating weekends.

Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for the assessment, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the delivery of patient care on the assigned shift
  • Supervises and evaluates work performance in accordance with established criteria-based standards of performance
  • Responsible for the coordination of clinical operations

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in nursing, which must be achieved within three years of starting the role
  • An Associate's degree RN currently in the role may be grandfathered in
  • Bachelors in nursing or related field with 2 years or more of clinical nursing experience preferred including 1 year of recent pediatric/psych/OR nursing experience preferred
  • Current RN License in the State of Alabama
  • Current BLS certification
  • Basic Life Support
  • Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications: Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State, Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State
  • Bachelor of Science Nursing in Nursing
  • 2 Years job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Nursing Acute
