Job Description

Baptist Health is looking to add a Charge Integrity Analyst to our Revenue integrity team at Baptist Metro Square. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity. This candidate will primarily be responsible for coding Emergency Room accounts for IV Infusion Therapy charges. The ideal candidate will have 3- 5 years of Charging and Coding experience, preferably with Epic. This is a remote opportunity, candidate must work in the following remote approved states: AL, FL, GA, ID, IN, KY, LA, MS, NC, OH, OK, OR, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WV, WY

Job Responsibility

  • Working out of Epic work queues to identify missing charges or modifiers
  • Perform root-cause analysis to identify the source of errors
  • Provide full-circle communication related to findings
  • Coding Emergency Room accounts for IV Infusion Therapy charges
  • Managing, coordinating, and implementing charge capture initiatives and processes to improve revenue management and revenue protection
  • Discover the root cause of revenue issues and develop corrective action plans and provide education on those plans
  • Working closely with assigned departments and ensuring work queues are being addressed and offering support, guidance, and education as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3-5 Years Experience with CPT/HCPCS Codes or Charging
  • 3-5 Years Coding Experience
  • 1-2 years Third Party Billing and Payment Methodologies Experience
  • 1-2 years Knowledge of Federal and State Regulations
  • Comfort working in Epic
  • Strong coding background
  • High attention to details
  • Strong understanding of Revenue Cycle
  • Experience handling claims
  • Ability to work independently
