Job Description

The Channel Sales Support Intern will play a crucial role in the UK&I Partner & Ecosystem team, supporting Partner & Ecosystem Leaders, Partner Business Managers, Distribution Business Managers and Sales Specialists. This is an opportunity to learn every component of the IT Channel working with all partners and distribution.

Job Responsibility

  • Support day-to-day operations of Partner & Ecosystem team across UK&I
  • Develop and manage reporting for planning and tracking using PowerBI and SFDC
  • Build and update fortnightly forecast pack
  • Create documentation and presentations for meetings
  • Attend internal and external meetings with partners
  • Run activities & represent HPE at partner events
  • Support in events organization
  • Be champion for partner queries on HPE tooling & processes
  • Development of communication vehicles
  • Management of various programmes including incentives

Requirements

  • Must be in 2nd year of a four-year degree which requires (or has an option for) 3rd year to be a one year's industrial placement
  • Expected to achieve minimum of a 2:1 grade
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Available to commence placement at beginning of July 2025 for 13 months
  • Self-motivation to work independently
  • Good time management & organisational skills
  • Adaptable in working in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Ability to effectively & confidently communicate with internal stakeholders & external partners
  • Prepared to travel across the UK & Ireland when necessary
  • Basic experience of Microsoft Office suite including Outlook and Excel
  • Team orientated, collaborative mindset & proactivity

  • Drives incremental monthly sales to meet or exceed budget objectives with 20-25 partners in the Mid-Atlantic region who are sub agents of a master agent or direct agents/partners
