As Channel Operations and Strategy Director you will be responsible for bridging the gap between our global channel vision and strategy and the operationalization of key initiatives that elevate our channel programs. You’ll craft and execute innovative strategies that ensure we’re maximizing the potential of our channel partnerships, and your work will directly impact the efficiency, effectiveness, and success of our channel business.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of channel programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, finance, and marketing
Develop and manage channel data analytics, insights, and operational processes, ensuring optimal efficiency and effectiveness
Build and evolve methodologies for channel knowledge management, forecasting, reporting, pricing, promotions, and communications
Take overall accountability for analytical models reflecting the health of 1Password’s channel business
Champion automation initiatives to streamline channel operations and boost sales productivity
Lead the channel business planning process and ensure its alignment with broader company goals
Oversee the execution of all channel initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope
Partner with cross-functional teams (sales ops, finance, supply chain, product management, marketing) to ensure effective representation of channel initiatives in the overall go-to-market strategy
Manage the program and project management processes for operational, marketing, and channel sales productivity initiatives
Coach and mentor team members, enabling them to execute on key initiatives with efficiency and expertise
Collaborate with the product management team to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for channel partners
Requirements:
8-10 years of experience in operations, program management, or strategy, ideally within a SaaS or tech environment
Strong experience in designing and managing channel programs, with a focus on driving results and operational excellence
Proven ability to develop and implement data analytics models to measure and improve channel performance
A strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt channel operations to meet evolving business needs
Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams
Leadership experience in managing and developing teams, with a focus on enabling team success
Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously
Expertise in automation and building infrastructure to optimize day-to-day channel operations
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams
