We’re looking for a Social Media Channel Manager to take ownership of one of LADbible’s flagship Instagram channels, shaping its editorial voice, content strategy and growth trajectory. Working closely with Editorial, Video, Commercial and Audience teams, you’ll be responsible for delivering best-in-class social content at scale. This role blends creative instinct with platform expertise, driving daily output, developing original ideas, spotting cultural moments early and using performance data to constantly refine what we publish.
Job Responsibility:
Own the day-to-day management of a LADbible Instagram channel, ensuring consistent quality, tone and performance
Pitch, develop and evolve original formats and IP designed specifically for social video
Oversee and maintain the content schedule, balancing original, UGC, aggregated and commercial content
Utilise analytics not just for reporting, but to actively inform commissioning decisions, formats and posting strategy
Identify trends, conversations and viral moments early, translating them into platform-native content
Work closely with Editorial, Video, Commercial and wider teams to deliver a synchronised, best-in-class output
Support branded and commercial content by ensuring integrations feel native, effective and audience-first
Confidently work across image, video and camera-facing content when required
Requirements:
Proven experience managing and growing Instagram channels, ideally in a publisher or media environment
A strong editorial eye with a deep understanding of what resonates with 16–34-year-old audiences
An excellent understanding of Instagram’s ecosystem, algorithms and content distribution mechanics
Confidence using performance data, audience insights and user psychology to guide decisions
A creative thinker who can turn ideas into repeatable formats, not just one-off posts
Comfortable being camera-facing and producing original content when needed
An understanding of media law and publishing best practice
Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal
Nice to have:
Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and video editing experience (desirable but not essential)
Experience working across additional platforms such as TikTok or YouTube Shorts is a bonus
