Job Description

We are looking for a Retail Experience & Field Operations Manager to spearhead our 3rd party retail channel strategy across India. This pivotal role will serve as the central connection point for internal cross-functional teams, external support agencies, and retail partners. You will play a crucial part in advancing Meta’s presence in the Consumer Electronics retail landscape. Key responsibilities include managing field sales staffing, overseeing temporary and long-term retail display initiatives, and guaranteeing the execution of global physical fixture merchandising standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Grow sales revenue, market share, brand advocacy, and purchase consideration for Meta products
  • Manage the performance of our agency's field sales team, holding them accountable for execution metrics, budget, and ROI targets
  • Own the staffing strategy, optimize field coverage models quarterly, and facilitate weekly performance reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Directly partner with the Meta Field Sales Lead on training content deployment and collaborate with the Data Science team to deliver analysis on staffing sales impact
  • Lead the planning, design, production sell-in, and implementation of Retail Display programs across India, supporting campaign-oriented temporary pop-ups and long-term furniture programs
  • Act as primary liaison between fixture vendor partners, graphic producers, and internal marketing teams, maintaining project management documents to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Utilize internal tools to generate purchase orders, track spending, and drive process efficiencies
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute a large volume of merchandising projects across multiple global retailers
  • Ensure all field merchandising components—including fixtures, demo units, graphics, and display technologies—are functioning properly and maintained to our high standards
  • Build highly detailed execution plans, enforce global in-store processes, and maximize ROI
  • Review execution instructions, process invoices, and manage weekly conference calls with third-party labor partners to keep all deliverables on track

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in retail physical project management, in-store merchandising (brand or vendor side), or field sales operations within large organizations
  • Proven experience working with Consumer Electronics retail partners (e.g., Reliance, Croma etc) across India
  • Clear understanding of retail fixture production, installation implementation, and the unique operating conditions of different retailers
  • Exceptional attention to detail with experience in creating project trackers, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling spend
  • Highly effective at managing conflict and navigating complex, international business environments
  • Proficiency in using Google Suite and AI tools for productivity

Nice to have

  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
