Job Description

The Change Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, documenting, and governing all application migration-related changes throughout the migration program. The role ensures compliance with the client’s Change Management process and acts as the primary liaison for change approvals and CAB (Change Advisory Board) presentations. Backup Incident Manager.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan, document, and manage migration-related changes across applications and environments
  • Coordinate with technical SMEs, project managers, infrastructure teams, and client stakeholders to gather required implementation details
  • Prepare and submit change requests in accordance with client Change Management policies and timelines
  • Present changes during CAB meetings alongside technical SMEs and address implementation or risk-related queries
  • Maintain a centralized change schedule and ensure proper sequencing of migration activities
  • Conduct impact assessments, risk evaluations, rollback planning, and implementation readiness reviews
  • Track change approvals, implementation outcomes, and post-change validation activities
  • Ensure all migration activities are fully documented and auditable
  • Support cutover planning and readiness activities during migration windows
  • Provide backup support for Incident Management activities during peak post-migration periods

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of ITIL Change Management processes and governance
  • Experience managing infrastructure or application migration changes in enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with CAB processes, risk management, and change documentation standards
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple technical and business teams
  • Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

Nice to have

  • ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent
  • Experience supporting large-scale migration or transformation programs
  • Ability to work in high-pressure migration and cutover environments
