Change Administration Analyst plays a critical role within the Cyber Security Services (CISO) team, leading efforts to ensure the seamless and secure implementation of production changes. This senior individual will be responsible for orchestrating the monitoring, validation, and timely approval of change records, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to implementers, requesters, vendors, and senior stakeholders. The role demands significant independence of judgment, strong analytical capabilities, and exceptional communication skills to manage complex scheduling conflicts, drive process improvements, and maintain robust data quality throughout the change lifecycle.
Job Responsibility:
Provide advanced technical guidance and expert support to implementers, requesters, and vendors on change administration processes and best practices
Proactively monitor and manage change record queues, ensuring accurate reception, assignment, and progression of tickets
Conduct thorough validation of change records for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established policies and standards
Effectively mediate scheduling conflicts and issues, negotiating "green zones" to minimize operational impact and ensure timely change execution
Champion timely task acceptance and secure necessary approvals, meticulously tracking progress and resolving bottlenecks
Maintain clear, concise, and proactive communication regarding the status of change records to all relevant stakeholders
Establish and leverage robust communication channels to escalate complex items and ensure swift resolution by appropriate parties
Contribute significantly to the continuous improvement log and trend reports, identifying opportunities to enhance the change approval process and ongoing education for clients and customers
Develop and contribute to training documentation and actively participate in the testing of automated processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
Ensure the highest level of data quality and integrity across the entire change lifecycle
Mentor, coach, and provide training to new team members, fostering a knowledgeable and proficient change administration function
Operate with a high degree of independence and minimal direct supervision, demonstrating exceptional judgment and autonomy in decision-making
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and other team members, providing authoritative advice and insights on change administration
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree
3-5 years of relevant experience in change administration, IT service management, or a related field, preferably within a large, complex organization
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, suitable for engagement with diverse audiences from technical staff to senior management
Proven analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and drive data-driven decision making
Familiarity with ServiceNow (SaaS), Citi Connectivity Registry (CCR), Citi Marketplace (CMP), Understanding network, firewall, proxy, application changes and Enterprise Entitlement Review System (EERS) is highly advantageous
