Broster Buchanan are partnered with a global leader in the mining industry who are looking for a Change Management Lead to join their global S2P transformation program, and play a key role in managing the organisational and people change as they implement the new S2P system (Ivalua), taking them from their current system with 0 automation to a modern platform. The role will be for an approximate 22 month duration and is being offered as a day rate or FTC salaried role, with a day rate of up to £1,000 per day or an FTC of £150k – £180k. Location is flexible across the UK or Europe and will be mostly remote, with very occasional travel to London and approximately one week per month in Africa (paid by the client). French speaking is an essential for this role.

Job Responsibility

  • Establish the overall change governance model with buy-in from senior stakeholder groups across Supply Chain, Finance, Treasury, Tax and site leadership
  • Build the change impact assessment across all impacted user groups, sites and waves, and translate findings into a phased change management, communication and engagement plan
  • Maintain the change RAID log, surface risks and dependencies into the Programme Status Review Meeting and Leadership Meeting cycles, and escalate to the Steering Committee where required
  • Engage early with potential change champions and stand up a change champion network spanning all four operating sites and Corporate
  • Act as the single point of contact for site change leads, balancing global Core Model consistency with local realities (shift patterns, language, connectivity, FX of working practices)
  • Partner with the Programme Director and Programme Sponsor on senior stakeholder messaging, town halls, and leadership communications
  • Own the end-to-end internal communications plan for the programme, sequenced against the wave plan and key milestones (Stage Gate 1, design playback, UAT, hypercare)
  • Develop and deliver communications materials (announcements, FAQs, leadership briefings, site-level updates) in English and French where required
  • Oversee end-user training execution across all waves, working with the SI to localise the global training strategy and Train-the-Trainer approach
  • Manage the internal trainer network and testers/trainers cohort, ensuring trainers are upskilled on Ivalua in time for each wave's UAT and go-live
  • Monitor training effectiveness post go-live and feed insights back into the hypercare and continuous improvement cycle
  • Define and track adoption KPIs (e.g. PO compliance, catalogue use, on-time receipting, invoice automation rate) against the programme's target benefits
  • Work with the BAU support model lead to ensure the Level 1 Super User Network and S2P Helpdesk are stood up and operational ahead of each go-live

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading change management on enterprise scale S2P or procurement platform implementations (specific platform experience isn't essential)
  • Proven track record of delivering complex change across multi-site, multi-country operating environments, ideally including emerging markets
  • Very strong change facilitator and advocate, with the patience, attitude and empathy to win over a diverse group of end users and ensure successful platform and process adoption
  • Strong stakeholder management skills up to executive level, with the ability to influence without authority
  • Practical experience of Prosci ADKAR, Kotter, or equivalent recognised change methodology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French up to business level is a requirement given the West African operating footprint
  • Comfortable operating in a hybrid delivery model with multiple workstream leads
