Designing, operating and continuously improving the organisation‑wide change governance and release‑readiness approach
Owning the single change calendar, identifying conflicts, risks, dependencies and blackout periods
Leading release‑readiness assessments to ensure changes meet defined standards before entering live service

Maintaining audit‑ready change records aligned to ISO and internal assurance requirements
Working closely with Product, Data, Corporate IT, Operational Technology and Enterprise Architecture teams to coordinate change activity
Integrating change governance with portfolio, assurance and stage‑gate processes alongside the Corporate PMO
Providing performance insight on change flow, success rates, failure patterns and systemic risk
Surfacing constraints, capacity issues and dependencies early, supporting predictable planning and delivery
Playing a key role in shaping new tools, standards, templates and ways of working across the directorate
Requirements:
Experience managing or coordinating IT, digital or operational‑technology change in a complex technical environment
Experience facilitating CABs, release cycles or formal readiness reviews
Experience working within portfolio‑led environments with multiple concurrent projects or product teams
Strong understanding of ITIL Change Management, release management and governance controls
Practical experience of Agile, Lean or DevOps‑aligned delivery practices
Ability to interpret and manage technical risk across infrastructure, cloud, data, applications and OT
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and audit discipline
