Job Responsibility

Preparation and service of a continental breakfast, including cooked egg dishes
Preparation and presentation of afternoon tea for guests to help themselves
Preparation and service of a three-course family-style evening meal, together with a separate children’s dinner served earlier in the evening, five nights per week
Planning, preparation and service of two staff meals each day
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and general health and safety in the kitchen and dining areas, including a full clean of the kitchen after each service and a weekly deep clean
Supporting the chalet team with front-of-house duties as required
Managing the chalet food budget, including ordering supplies and shopping
Communicating proactively with guests to ensure queries are dealt with and special requests are met promptly, including presenting menus and engaging with guests when required
Demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability and actively supporting Consensio’s environmental initiatives

Job Responsibility

Prepare the dining area, warmly welcome and seat guests, and take orders for hot food and beverages
Present a light meal and beverages for guests to help themselves
Deliver a family-style dining experience, including paired wines
Conduct a thorough weekly changeover clean of the entire property, including a midweek linen change
Provide daily housekeeping for all guest areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, ski room, living areas and the spa area
Ensure back-of-house and laundry areas are kept clean, well-organised, and efficient
Proactively engage with guests to address queries and fulfil special requests promptly
Identify and report maintenance issues accurately and in a timely manner to the Chalet Manager
Uphold hygiene and safety standards in accordance with company policies
Support and enhance relationships with local suppliers where appropriate

Delivering a first-class driver service to all guests
Responsible for the driver phone, being on call for the guests during driver service hours
Being proactive in assisting guests with any general queries or special requests
Minor chalet maintenance, with the knowledge to escalate issues appropriately
Responsible for the management and upkeep of Consensio vehicles and garages, ensuring excellent presentation, and completing weekly vehicle reports
Identify maintenance, health, and safety issues and notify the Chalet Manager accordingly
Snow clearing of all pathways leading to and areas immediately surrounding the chalet including all terraces and balconies, and areas accessible to guests and staff
