Job Description:

Westminster is looking for an experienced, collegiate leader to become its next Chair of Governors. The Chair provides leadership to the Governing Body, ensuring that Governors fulfil their responsibilities for the effective governance of the School. Operating within the School’s statutory framework, the Chair will line manage, support and empower the Head Master of the Great School and the Master of the Under School, without becoming involved in day-to-day management, while ensuring all Governing Body decisions are made fairly and in the best long-term interests of the School.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide leadership to the Governing Body
  • Ensure Governors fulfil their responsibilities for the effective governance of the School
  • Line manage, support and empower the Head Master of the Great School and the Master of the Under School
