Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated CFO to lead the financial strategy and operations of our organization in Sanford, Maine. This role involves managing a team of finance professionals, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving operational efficiency to support the company's strategic objectives.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, to ensure accuracy and compliance
Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support financial planning and execution
Evaluate and enhance financial systems and workflows to improve operational efficiency
Provide strategic financial insights to guide business decisions and long-term planning
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain robust internal controls
Collaborate with leadership to align financial strategies with organizational goals
Manage inbound financial inquiries and maintain effective communication with stakeholders
Monitor and analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth

Requirements:

Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, such as CFO or Finance Manager
Strong track record of managing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
Excellent relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external partners
Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with a focus on improving operational processes
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and best practices in financial management
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively share financial insights
