Job Description:

A mission-oriented healthcare organization is seeking a senior financial leader to oversee financial strategy, operations, and compliance. This role provides executive-level leadership across finance, supports organizational growth, and ensures strong financial governance in a regulated healthcare environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Advise executive leadership and Board on financial performance and long-range planning
  • Support growth initiatives, partnerships, and expansion efforts
  • Drive financial sustainability amid evolving healthcare reimbursement and funding models
  • Lead all finance and accounting functions, including GL, AP/AR, payroll, and reporting
  • Ensure timely, accurate financial statements and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and multiyear financial planning
  • Manage cash flow and overall financial health
  • Use financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Implement cost management and efficiency initiatives
  • Partner with operational and clinical leaders on performance improvement
  • Maintain KPIs and management reporting tools
  • Lead and develop the finance team
  • Strengthen financial systems, processes, and controls
  • Manage audits and external financial reviews
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and funding requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
  • advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience
  • Healthcare finance experience required
  • grant or funding compliance experience preferred
  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Knowledge of regulatory environments and internal controls
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leadership and collaborate cross-functionally
