• Oversee the preparation and ensure the accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable financial regulations
• Play a key role in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and detailed financial analysis
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal control systems to safeguard organizational assets
• Manage audit processes by working with external auditors to ensure compliance
• Prepare and file necessary tax returns, while ensuring timely payments of taxes
• Lead the development of annual budgets and ongoing financial forecasts in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Work with department heads to assess financial needs and drive strategic initiatives
• Analyze variances and offer actionable recommendations for cost control and optimization of financial resources
• Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to identify key performance metrics and business trends
• Provide actionable insights to senior management on financial performance and operational efficiency
• Develop models to support critical decision-making processes, including investments, business expansion, and capital expenditures
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements to enhance organizational efficiency
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments and levels of expertise
• Work closely with senior leadership, including finance and operations directors and executive team members, to achieve organizational goals
• Provide financial analytics and insights to support critical business decisions and initiatives
• Develop expertise in areas like financial strategy, organizational growth, and risk management
• Gain hands-on experience in investor relations, board reporting, and high-level organizational leadership

• Proven expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP
• Experience in developing and implementing internal controls to safeguard organizational assets
• Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and advanced financial analysis to guide strategic planning
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working across teams and departments
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement and process optimization
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in accounting and finance
• CPA, MBA highly desired
