Job Description:

Reporting to the CEO, the Interim CFO will serve as a key strategic leader shaping the company’s financial direction and long‑term trajectory. As a core member of the Executive Team, this leader will partner closely with the CEO and Board to drive operational excellence, harmonization across business units, and disciplined financial execution. The ideal executive brings strong commercial judgment, high IQ/EQ, and the hands‑on leadership required to guide an organization through complexity, growth, and transformation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive Team on company performance, revenue optimization, cost controls, strategic planning, and capital allocation
  • Provide financial transparency and strategic insight into revenue drivers, pricing models, and business performance
  • Define and operationalize KPIs aligned to a staff‑augmentation revenue model
  • Oversee all finance and accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and best‑in‑class practices across accounting, treasury, payments, and supplier relationships
  • Strengthen compliance and revenue recognition processes to support growth and potential future capital events
  • Lead FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning
  • Build scalable accounting and FP&A processes, introducing metrics and KPIs that accelerate growth and performance
  • Develop analytics to monitor key performance levers and assess strategic initiatives
  • Manage capital expenditure planning and ensure alignment with financial goals
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, implement change, and elevate organizational performance
  • Partner on strategic initiatives, including M&A evaluation, due diligence, deal analysis, and integration support
  • Assess existing team structure, lead finance transformation efforts, and build a high-performing, scalable finance organization

Requirements:

  • Previous CFO experience within a private‑equity–backed technology company
  • Experience in both large-company finance environments and smaller/high-growth settings, with an understanding of how to mature early-stage finance functions
  • Proven ability to scale geographically dispersed teams across accounting, FP&A, treasury, contracting/billing, and related functions
  • Extensive experience leading budgeting, forecasting, reporting cadence, and strategic planning
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial insights into operational performance
  • Demonstrated success creating accountability and a culture of disciplined financial management
  • Experience with pricing strategy, sales operations, and sales compensation design
  • Ability to model financial scenarios, debate strategic options, and understand end markets and product strategies
  • Experience in global, complex technology and manufacturing environments
  • Deep understanding of revenue recognition rules and technical accounting
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build credibility at the Board level
  • Ability to develop strong internal/external relationships that support organizational success

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • MBA strongly preferred
  • CPA is a plus
  • Experience leading high‑growth companies through successful exits
  • Experience with international financial operations and systems, particularly in Central and South America
