Job Description

CFO Advisory role in a well-known financial consulting firm.

Job Responsibility

  • Participate in engagement teams providing CFO Advisory services, including global conversion services (IFRS and US GAAP conversions), financial close, finance function process improvement, budgeting and forecasting, management reporting design, ERP implementation advisory, and accounting support projects
  • Support the sales and proposal process for advisory engagements in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide clients with effective and efficient recommendations that add value throughout the engagement lifecycle
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics, from a reputable university
  • At least 5 years of experience in audit and/or finance advisory
  • Preferably experienced in financial controlling and reporting within the non-financial sector
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS required
  • US GAAP knowledge is a plus
  • SMMM, CMA, or ACCA qualification is an asset
  • Experience in developing business strategies and solutions that support growth agendas
  • Experience in ERP transformation projects is an asset
  • Experience in consolidation management is an asset
  • Strong analytical and process analysis skills
  • Good command of MS Office applications
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Project management and well-developed supervisory skills
  • Commercial awareness and ability to adapt to new situations
  • Strong interpersonal and report-writing skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to take responsibility, manage priorities, and delegate tasks
  • Ability to take ownership of projects

  • US GAAP knowledge is a plus
