Carrier Digital Hub India is looking for a passionate candidate to join our Digital ERP CoE team. As part of Carrier's digital transformation, this role is for an Associate in S4 HANA – CFIN RTR Banking. The role requires expertise in ERP Finance and supports Finance work streams in implementing and supporting R2R Banking functionality. The candidate will support efficient business processes to meet business goals and objectives, facilitate the integration layer between business and technology teams to deliver a seamless solution, and assist the development team in building solutions that are well-designed, standards-based, robust, and easily maintained within SAP-CFIN Systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Financial Posting and Period-End Processing: Assist in configuring and managing financial posting processes, including journal entries, accruals, allocations, and depreciation within the Central Finance (CFIN) environment. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Record-to-Report Process Optimization: Support and enhance Record-to-Report (RTR) processes such as general ledger accounting, asset accounting, and intercompany postings within Central Finance to ensure efficient and standardized financial close and reporting operations
  • Data Integration and Reconciliation: Ensure accurate replication and reconciliation of RTR transactions between source systems and CFIN. Monitor and validate general ledger balances, sub-ledger reconciliations, and financial postings to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems
  • Compliance and Financial Controls: Ensure RTR processes adhere to accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. Support audit requirements and implement best practices to strengthen financial governance, traceability, and risk mitigation within financial reporting processes
  • Issue Resolution and User Enablement: Troubleshoot functional issues related to financial postings and reporting, provide end-user training, and develop detailed RTR process documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and functional issues efficiently and ensure smooth financial close and reporting cycles

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience within the information technology and/or responsibilities within CFIN, Finance a related area of business
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven, hands-on experience in SAP- CFIN RTR Banking project delivery or support
  • S4/HANA finance, controlling and asset management knowledge
  • Results orientation, striving to bolster personal and team results
  • Effective interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Open and able to work in culturally diverse environment
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in consultancy
  • “Agile-development” mindset with customer-focus
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Finance/ Accounting/ Commerce related field is preferred
