Job Description:

Key operational role, responsible for delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality maintenance while leading small teams and working closely with Technical Control and wider stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out allocated aircraft maintenance tasks in a safe, secure, and compliant manner
  • Lead and supervise small maintenance teams
  • Act as the focal point of communication between the maintenance team, Technical Control, and third-party suppliers
  • Ensure accurate certification of all maintenance tasks and technical documentation
  • Drive compliance with Engineering safety, EASA regulations, and company procedures

Requirements:

  • CAA Part 66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance Licence
  • Company approvals on one or more widebody aircraft types (Airbus A330 (RR Trent), Airbus A350 (RR Trent), or Boeing 787 (RR Trent))
  • Proven experience operating in a certifying engineer role
  • Recent hands-on experience in an aeronautical engineering or aircraft maintenance environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • A proactive, organised mindset
  • A full, valid UK driving licence

Nice to have:

  • Experience of the Virgin Atlantic fleet
  • Familiarity with Virgin Atlantic maintenance and IT systems
