Job Description:

A hospital in Irvine, CA is looking to hire Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to cover General, Ortho, Uro, GYN, Gastro, Head and Neck, Thoracic cases. Will see Adults and Health Peds patients. Anything more acute will be handled by Pediatric Anesthesiologist. No OB – Work in OR at Hospital or Surgery Center (Attached to Hospitals).

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct patient assessments prior to anesthesia treatment
  • Educate patients and their families about the anesthesia process and recovery
  • Prepare and administer anesthesia medication via injection, inhalation, or oral medication
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels during surgery
  • Oversee patients' safety as they recover from anesthesia
  • Maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment
  • Document patient care in medical records
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest anesthesia practices and procedure

Requirements:

  • Active California CRNA License
  • Board Certification required
  • Proficiency in EPIC
  • COVID vaccine and one booster required
  • 1 year CRNA experience within the last 3 years required
