Job Responsibility:
Providing anesthesia care services to adult and pediatric patients
Ability to work in a complex environment with elective and emergency surgeries
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Nursing
No experience required
Must be able to fulfill department schedule needs which may include 24/7 call and weekend coverage as needed
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices
Nurse Anesthetist certification (CRNA) issued by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber license issued by the state in which team member practices
Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)/American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required
