Job Description

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Anesthesiology, is seeking a Nocturnist CRNA. Both newly trained and experienced CRNAs are welcome to apply. Enjoy a friendly and collaborative culture with mentorship for new graduates, and a positive work environment. The CRNA Nocturnist at our Level I Trauma Center works three (3) consecutive 12 hour shifts each week. The shifts are back-to-back and rotate between Sun/Mon/Tues and Wed/Thur/Fri, with opportunities to pick up extra shifts if wanted. No weekend call requirements outside of holiday coverage with large group.

Job Responsibility

Administering and monitoring anesthesia to patients during surgical and/or obstetrical procedures

Requirements

  • Successful completion of nursing anesthesia program
  • Certification
  • Eligibility for licensure in the State of Kansas
