Job Responsibility

Oversee fund accounting processes, ensuring accurate reporting of revenues from royalties, taxes, and natural resource operations
Prepare detailed financial statements in accordance with Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) guidelines
Conduct audits to ensure transparency, compliance, and adherence to financial governance requirements
Develop and implement investment strategies to achieve sustainable returns while mitigating risks
Evaluate investment opportunities, including real estate and equities, ensuring alignment with public fund regulations
Monitor investment performance and recommend adjustments to meet financial objectives
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing public funds and natural resource revenues
Collaborate with various state departments, including legal and resource management teams, to enhance financial outcomes
