We are looking for a detail-oriented Certified Payroll Administrator to join our team in Irvine, California. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with expertise in payroll reporting, prevailing wage compliance, and union regulations, particularly within the construction industry. The role requires a strong understanding of labor laws and advanced documentation practices to ensure accuracy and compliance in payroll processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and submit weekly certified payroll reports, such as Form WH-347, to government agencies to ensure compliance
  • Verify worker classifications and pay rates to meet the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act and prevailing wage laws
  • Review subcontractor payroll submissions to maintain accuracy and adherence to compliance standards
  • Maintain detailed records of prevailing wages, fringe benefits, and union deductions for auditing purposes
  • Ensure payroll processes align with multi-state regulations and company policies
  • Utilize construction-specific payroll software, including ADP Workforce Now, to manage full-cycle payroll for 101-500 employees
