Job Responsibility

Analyze MRP (Material Requirements Planning) needs and process purchase requisitions
Issue purchase orders in a timely and cost-effective manner, conducting rigorous price analyses
Ensure rigorous follow-up on open purchase orders (raw products, tooling, chemicals, MRO office supplies)
Proactively communicate potential issues or interruptions to management
Identify and evaluate new suppliers, particularly for certain specialized products (strategic sourcing)
Lead price and condition negotiations with suppliers once comfortable in the role
Liaise between suppliers, subcontractors, and relevant internal departments (Operations, Engineering, Planning)
