Join our vibrant team at La Loma Village in Litchfield Park, AZ, as a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant! Schedule: 8-hour shifts PRN. **$500.00 sign-on bonus (PRN) ** Your Mission: Join us to provide direct patient care under the direction of nursing staff. Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving patients, or changing linens. May transfer or transport patients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide direct patient care under the direction of nursing staff
  • Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving patients, or changing linens
  • May transfer or transport patients
  • Check assignment, schedule, note any special events and extra duties specific to the shift and section
  • Answer call lights as needed
  • Do vital signs as indicated and when requested
  • Assist at meal times
  • Chart required information
  • Attend Staff and In-Service Meetings
  • Assist in responsibilities connected with admissions, transfers and discharges
  • Use aseptic technique in all care of residents
  • Observe residents' physical condition, emotions, reactions, eating and report changes to Charge Nurse
  • Maintain and renew certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Demonstrate Sun Health Vibrant Living culture
  • Assist with residents at activities
  • Assist resident with pre-meal preparation
  • Bathe residents
  • Perform nail care
  • Do oral care
  • Assist in undressing
  • Fix hair
  • Assist into bed
  • Empty trash and remove soiled clothing
  • Check residents every 2 hours (Night shift)
  • Turn residents incapable of turning themselves
  • Wash wheelchairs weekly
  • Clean soiled equipment

Requirements:

  • CPR and First Aid or ability to obtain (Required)
  • Certified Nurse Assistant (Required)
  • AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain (Required)
