Certified Nurse Aide

• Provide assistance to residents with ADL’s
• Carry out all assignments given by the Registered Nurse or LPN in a safe appropriate and timely manner within the guidelines of the AHMC nursing care requirements
• Promote the use of resident’s assets and limit the effects of disabilities
• Take accountability for all resident care given during the shift
• Communicate with and provide care to adult and geriatric residents
• Promote teamwork among co-workers and contribute to a positive environment

• CNA certification in New York State
• Compassionate, team-oriented mindset
• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required
