Job Description:

A medical center in Los Angeles, California is looking for a Certified Psychologist to perform Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Testing for children and prepare written assessment reports. This locum tenens position is a 6-month term with potential to have a hybrid schedule. Full-time providers only to cover a vacancy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct comprehensive Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) evaluations for children, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools
  • Prepare thorough written assessment reports detailing diagnostic findings, recommendations, and tailored interventions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, pediatricians, and educational professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care
  • Provide family-centered feedback sessions to communicate assessment results and offer guidance on next steps
  • Stay current with ASD research and best practices to ensure high-quality, informed assessments and recommendations

Requirements:

  • Current California Psychology License
  • Neurology fellowship preferred
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Testing
