Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association

Job Responsibility

Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with both the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient
Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient
Perform a variety of clinical tasks as directed by an authorized health care provider
Assist with front office duties and scheduling of tests and/or patient appointments
Responsible for accurate chart documentation and medical record maintenance
Attend / conduct in-service presentations and seminars
Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values
